This project examines the expectations imposed on people assigned female at birth (AFABs), how we navigate such expectations both at home and away, and how they influence our relationships with self, body, and others.

The photographs, produced as cyanotypes on cotton fabric, carry symbolism of imposition, compliance, resistance, and self-definition, presenting the body as both subject and site of negotiation.

The variety in tone, texture, and clarity hints at shifts in time, location, and environmental conditions.
